Ants Bistro, Melbourne CBD
We only pop in to Ants Bistro for dinner once in a while. What’s stopping us from coming for dinner more often is that the food here is really really salty. Be prepared to drink lots of water following your meal.
Service here is decent. They do have some pretty good dishes, most of it from the Chef’s selections in the menu such as the Minister chicken, Kung Pao Prawns, Scrambled Eggwhite, and Ants on a tree.
We only recently tried this entree dish, Crystal Noodle Salad. Despite looking not too appetizing, it was surprisingly yummy, especially the sauce. It is cold crystal noodle, fresh cucumber, wakame tossed with sesame chili sauce.
Overall, it would be better if they lessen the salt/MSG used as they do have some pretty good dishes.
